Return Policy (India)

At Sukumar Book Stall, we take extreme care in packing and shipping all books and legal publications. Please review our return and refund policy below:

1. Return Eligibility (Defective / Damaged Items Only)
We accept returns exclusively for defective, damaged, or incorrectly sent items. 
- We do not accept returns or cancellations for change-of-mind or buyer's remorse once an order has been dispatched.
- All returns must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- To be eligible for a return, the book or publication must be in the original condition as received, unused, and with original packaging/invoices intact.

2. Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges. If your item arrived damaged or defective, it will be refunded or replaced in accordance with the terms below.

3. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is defective, physically damaged in transit, or missing pages, contact us immediately at admin@sukumarbookstall.com with:
- Your Order Number
- Clear photographs or a brief video showing the defect or damage
- Description of the issue

4. Return Shipping
Once your defective return request is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the package. Because returns are accepted for defective/damaged items only, return shipping for verified defects is covered by Sukumar Book Stall (either via scheduled pickup or reimbursement).

5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved:
- Your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the credit to reflect on your account statement.

6. Non-Returnable Items
Items that have been written in, highlighted, altered, used, or reported after the 7-day delivery window are not eligible for return or refund.
